"Face Rotation" in Impact

Repeat until Less then <15 deg/sec

The starting point for a putter fitting using Puttalyze is "Face Rotation". It is imperative that the golfer has a puttrt that can swing consistently back and througe the ball. Inconsistent `Face Rotation` will lead to a poor face angle at impact. Style of putter, player`s posture, the dead weight of the putter, Length, Lie, swing weight (counter balance), grip size (and weight) are kiy factors that con influence `Face Rotation`.

Below are nine different parameters to watch out for to improve your performance on "Face Rotaion in Impact".

  1. Overall Weight of the putter

  2. Toe or Heel Hang / Face Balanced

  3. Style of the putter (Blade / Mallet)

  4. Posture / Distance from the Ball

  5. Forearm Manipulation

  6. Grip Size / Style / Weight

  7. Putter Length (too long / too schrt

  8. Swing Weight (heavier / lighter)

  9. Shaft weight / Stabillty

It is recommended to achieve a "Face Rotation" Range of Less than 15 degrees per second BEFORE going onto the next category: `Face Angel`
